Students bring toy story to life
TRADITIONAL toys took on the technological age at the first dress rehearsal of the Woolgoolga High School Rock Eisteddfod performance titled Toys of the Future.
Soft teddies, Barbies, tin soldiers, cowgirls, mobile phones, iPods and action heroes all took to the stage last Wednesday for their first performance in front of 400 local primary school students.

The 44 performers and two technical crew were fine-tuning their piece before they compete against schools from all over NSW at the State Sports Centre at Sydney Olympic Park in early August.

The students came up with the idea for the toy revolution in brainstorming sessions late last year. They have turned their idea into a vibrant visual piece that explores the idea about what is the future for toys.
